Under LuckyMate’s cash-out policy, withdrawals are processed “usually within the same business day” and, in some cases, within 3 business days. That timescale only starts once your account is verified, and your bank’s own processing comes on top. There is a £10 minimum and no fee from LuckyMate; the money goes back to whichever method you deposited with. For a first payout, the identity check usually decides the wait.
| Stage | Time under LuckyMate’s rules | What can slow it down |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Identity verification | Not published; documents not sent within 30 days of registering can get the account blocked | Unclear photos, proof of address older than 3 months |
| 2. Withdrawal request | Made in the Cashier; minimum £10 | An active bonus (it is forfeited), no deposit made yet |
| 3. Processing by LuckyMate | Usually the same business day, in some cases up to 3 business days; the FAQ aims for 2 | Weekends and bank holidays, which don’t count as business days |
| 4. Additional checks | Possible once withdrawals total more than £1,000; no time published | Source of funds questions, payslips, statements |
| 5. Bank or card leg | Not published; depends on your bank | Banks that refuse card refunds, in which case the payout goes by bank transfer through Trustly |

What LuckyMate says about payout speed, and where
Withdrawal speed comes up in four places on LuckyMate’s site, and the four don’t agree with each other. Only one of them sits in the terms you accept when you open an account. For the licence, games and welcome offer, see our LuckyMate casino UK review.
| Where | What it says | How much weight it carries |
|---|---|---|
| Cash-out Policy | “Usually within the same business day”, in some cases not later than 3 business days, after verification | The binding rule, and the one to quote in a complaint |
| Deposits and withdrawals FAQ | “We aim to process it within 2 business days” | A target, softer than the policy |
| Casino FAQ | Most cashouts are “processed promptly” | No number at all |
| Homepage | A UK casino and betting site “with instant withdrawals” | Marketing copy; it isn’t one of the account terms |
Two details in the policy wording are easy to miss. Business days exclude weekends and bank holidays, so a request made late on a Friday has no business day left that week: the best case is the following Monday, and the outer limit falls midweek. And the count starts from verification. An account still waiting on documents hasn’t begun it at all.
Why “instant withdrawals” is not a promise
The homepage line describes the best case: an account that is already verified, with nothing pending and a quick route to the bank. Some payouts do arrive within hours, as the tests further down show, but the terms give you no right to that speed. If a payout drags and you complain, quote the policy’s 3 business days.
How to withdraw from LuckyMate, step by step
- Clear verification first. If LuckyMate has asked for documents, upload them before you request a payout. A request from an unverified account just sits there.
- Check your bonus status. If a bonus is still active, asking to withdraw cancels it along with any winnings it produced (more on that below).
- Request the withdrawal in the Cashier. The minimum is £10 and the payout goes back to the method you deposited with. You need at least one deposit on the account.
- Allow for processing. Usually the same business day; the policy allows up to 3 business days.
- Look for the right name on your statement. LuckyMate says transactions show as “Anakatech Interactive”, sometimes under another brand name from the same group, so search your banking app for that name.

LuckyMate withdrawal time by payment method
LuckyMate doesn’t publish a separate timescale for each method; the policy’s 3 business days covers all of them. Review sites attach their own estimates to each route and differ from one another by days, so treat the right-hand column as a rough ranking and nothing more. Deposits and limits are on our page about LuckyMate payment methods.
| Method | Where the payout goes | LuckyMate’s timescale | What review sites report |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa debit | Back to the same card | Same policy as every method | In the slowest group in every review-site table we compared |
| Mastercard debit | Back to the card; the policy says Mastercard payouts may go by bank transfer instead | Same policy | Grouped with Visa at the slow end |
| Apple Pay, Google Pay | Not spelt out in the policy; the closed-loop rule applies | Same policy | Placed among the quicker routes by Bojoko and BestBettingSites |
| Trustly (instant bank transfer) | Your bank account | Same policy | Betting Lounge puts it at the quick end of its table |
| Skrill, Neteller, PayPal | Unconfirmed | Not published | Some review sites list them; LuckyMate’s own pages don’t, so check the cashier |
Closed loop: why the money goes back the way it came
LuckyMate runs a closed loop: winnings return to wherever the deposit came from, and you can’t switch to a different card or account because it would be quicker. The exception starts on the bank’s side. Some banks won’t accept refunds to a card, and the policy names NatWest and RBS as examples; LuckyMate then sends the money by bank transfer through Trustly. If a payout to a NatWest or RBS card seems to have gone missing, check your current account.
Verification: the real brake on a first withdrawal
LuckyMate runs an electronic check when you register. If that check can’t confirm who you are, or something later triggers a review, it asks for documents. This is where a first withdrawal can stall, because processing time isn’t counted until the account is cleared. What it can ask for:
- Photo ID: a passport or driving licence.
- Proof of address: a utility bill or bank statement no older than 3 months (LuckyMate’s own rule; the Gambling Commission leaves the choice of documents to operators).
- A photo of the debit card you paid with, with the middle 8 digits and the CVV covered.
- Where checks are triggered: evidence of source of funds or wealth, such as payslips.
Uploads go through Profile, then My Account, then Verify Identity or Upload Documents, as JPEG files of up to 5 MB each. Identity documents not sent within 30 days of registering can lead LuckyMate to block the account. Our page on LuckyMate KYC documents takes each item in turn.
How long the checks take isn’t published. Gambling.com reported its documents cleared within 24 hours, and Betiton says up to 48 hours.
The Gambling Commission expects operators to tell you in advance which documents they may need, and not to make a new document request a condition of paying out when they could have asked for it earlier. If a fresh request turns up only after you’ve asked to withdraw, point that out in any complaint.
Withdrawals above £1,000 in total
Once your withdrawals add up to more than £1,000, the cash-out policy allows LuckyMate to run an additional check. That means source of funds checks: questions about your occupation and income, backed by payslips or bank statements. No timescale is published for this stage, so have those papers ready if a larger payout is coming.
Rules that can cost you a payout
An active bonus is forfeited
According to LuckyMate’s bonus terms, requesting a withdrawal while a bonus is active forfeits the bonus and any winnings from it, automatically. With the MATE50 welcome spins, finish the x1 wagering on spin winnings before you ask for a payout, or those winnings vanish while your own cash balance stays. The full bonus forfeiture rules sit with the rest of the offer terms.
An approved withdrawal cannot be reversed
Once LuckyMate has approved a withdrawal, there is no pulling it back. That matches a UK-wide rule: since 31 October 2021, licensed operators have not been allowed to offer reverse withdrawals, which let players move a pending payout back into their balance and keep playing. If you feel that urge while a withdrawal is pending, LuckyMate’s deposit limits and time-outs are there for it, and GambleAware offers confidential support.
Minimums and fees
The odd player review mentions a higher minimum, but the cash-out policy sets it at £10. LuckyMate takes nothing for withdrawals, though your bank or payment provider might.
Betting Lounge’s test withdrawals and what players report
We haven’t put a withdrawal through a LuckyMate account of our own, so the timings here are other people’s. Betting Lounge reported its first withdrawal landing in 26 hours and its second in 59 minutes. Both sit comfortably inside the policy’s 3 business days, and the gap fits a first payout that carried the verification step. Betting Lounge scores LuckyMate 3.3/5 overall.
Withdrawal time: rules vs tests
Checked against LuckyMate’s published terms and the Gambling Commission register on 2 October 2026.
On Trustpilot, where LuckyMate stood at 1.9/5 on 2 October 2026, payout delays come up in only a handful of reviews, and our summary of LuckyMate Trustpilot reviews breaks the themes down.
What to do if your LuckyMate withdrawal is stuck
Start by matching what you see to the likely cause.
| What you see | Likely reason | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Pending beyond 3 business days | Verification incomplete or an additional check running | Look for document requests in your account and email, then ask live chat what is still outstanding |
| Bonus balance gone after the request | An active bonus was forfeited | Expected under the bonus terms; your cash balance is not affected |
| Marked as paid, nothing on the card | Your bank refused a card refund, so the payout went by bank transfer through Trustly | Check your current account |
| Asked for payslips or statements | Source of funds check, possible once withdrawals pass £1,000 | Send them, or ask support which documents will do |
| Account blocked | Documents not sent within 30 days of registering | Upload what was asked for and ask support to review the block |
If none of that fits, escalate in this order:
- Live chat. Start with LuckyMate’s live chat, or email [email protected]; there’s no phone line. More on the LuckyMate support team and what to send them is in our support guide.
- A written complaint. Include your username, the amount, the date of the request, the payment method and the documents you have already sent. Under its terms, LuckyMate has up to 4 weeks to respond and up to 8 weeks to give a final answer.
- ADR Group. If the final answer doesn’t settle it, or 8 weeks pass without one, take the case to ADR Group, LuckyMate’s independent dispute service.
- The Gambling Commission. It doesn’t resolve individual disputes, but you can confirm on its public register that the operator, Anakatech Interactive Limited under account 48789, is licensed and has no regulatory actions recorded.
LuckyMate withdrawal FAQ
How long does a Lucky Mate casino withdrawal take?
Usually the same business day, and in some cases up to 3 business days, counted from when the account is verified. That is the cash-out policy; LuckyMate’s FAQ sets a target of 2 business days. Whatever time your bank takes is extra.
What is the minimum withdrawal at LuckyMate?
£10. LuckyMate charges no withdrawal fee, though your bank or payment provider may, and the account needs at least one deposit first.
Can I withdraw to a different payment method?
Not by choice. LuckyMate runs a closed loop, so money goes back to the method you deposited with. If your bank doesn’t accept refunds to a card, the payout is sent by bank transfer through Trustly instead.
Can I cancel a LuckyMate withdrawal once it is approved?
No. Once approved, a withdrawal can’t be reversed, in line with the UK ban on reverse withdrawals that has applied since 31 October 2021.
Why was my first withdrawal slower than the next one?
A first payout usually waits for identity checks, and the policy’s timescale doesn’t start until you’re verified. Betting Lounge saw the same pattern: 26 hours for its first withdrawal, 59 minutes for the second.
Will I lose my bonus if I withdraw?
Yes, if it is still active: a withdrawal request forfeits the bonus and its winnings. Finish the x1 wagering on bonus spin winnings first.
