LuckyMate is a casino and sportsbook for British players, run by Anakatech Interactive Limited and licensed by the Gambling Commission under account 48789. It opened in late July 2025 and now lists 2,020 games, most of them slots, with a full sportsbook on the same account. We verified the claims on this page against the operator’s terms and the public register on 2 October 2026. Short version: worth a look for slots players who want plain bonus terms, less so for anyone who needs an app, a phone line or a loyalty scheme.

Verdict by Callum Whitlock — UK casino & betting editor · ★★★★½

A properly UK-licensed newcomer with honest welcome maths: £10 in slot bets earns 50 spins with x1 wagering and a £100 cap. Debit card and Trustly payouts usually clear within three business days of verification. There is no app or VIP scheme, and the low Trustpilot score is mostly about ID checks and bonus terms.

One login does for both the casino and the sportsbook. Only people in the United Kingdom aged 18 or over can sign up, and every balance is held in pounds. On the register, the brand’s domains are luckymate.co.uk and luckymatecasino.co.uk. Lookalikes in search, such as luckymate.casino or the Australian and New Zealand “Lucky Mate” pages, are separate sites that the UK licence doesn’t cover.

What we like

  • Gambling Commission licence with no regulatory actions on record
  • Welcome spins carry x1 wagering, far below the 10x UK cap
  • 2,020 games from Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play'n GO and others
  • Withdrawals usually processed the same business day after verification
  • Casino and sports welcome offers kept separate, each with its own code
  • GAMSTOP plus self-exclusion that can cover every Anakatech Interactive brand

What could be better

  • No native app for iPhone or Android
  • No VIP or loyalty programme
  • No phone line, and live chat is not 24/7
  • Customer funds rated not protected if the company fails
  • Low Trustpilot score with repeated ID-check complaints
  • Spin winnings capped at £100

Welcome offer: 50 bonus spins with code MATE50

Phone screen with a dark teal casino lobby and a 50 bonus spins offer card

New customers enter MATE50 in the Cashier field with a first deposit of at least £10 by Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay or Apple Pay. After that, £10 in total slot bets, outside the restricted games list, fills the Bet Tracker and releases 50 Bonus Spins on Big Bass Splash at £0.10 each. The £10 has to be placed within 7 days, and the spins last 24 hours. Players tend to call them free spins, although your £10 deposit and £10 in bets come first.

Winnings from the spins carry x1 wagering, with a £1 maximum contribution and a £100 cashout cap. It’s one offer per household. Ask for a withdrawal while the bonus is still active and you forfeit it, along with anything it has won. Our breakdown of the LuckyMate welcome offer lists the excluded games and explains why spins sometimes fail to credit.

Older “no wagering” claims were true once. Until the terms changed on 11 March 2026, the offer had neither wagering nor a cap, and some reviews still describe that version. Partner landing pages also run MATE100 (100 spins) and RP250 (250 spins) on the same conditions, valid only via the landing page or an affiliate link.

How we scored LuckyMate

The 4.5 out of 5 is our editorial score, averaged across six criteria rated from the register, the operator’s terms and the game lobby. Player reviews don’t feed into it. Licence and safety comes top at 4.8 (an account active since 2017, no regulatory actions, GAMSTOP membership), held back by the “not protected” funds rating. Bonus value sits last at 4.2. The deal is fair, if small.

What £10 in slot bets gets you

£10Slot bets£5Spin value£4.84Avg return£100Cashout cap
Average return assumes the 96.71% RTP version of Big Bass Splash. The £100 cap applies to spin winnings.

Put in pounds, £10 of slot bets earns 50 spins worth £5. At the default 96.71% RTP of Big Bass Splash, those spins return about £4.84 on average. Pragmatic Play also supplies 95.67% and 94.6% versions of the game, and the info screen tells you which one you’re playing. The £100 cap only bites if the 50 spins win more than £100 between them.

What the big review sites get wrong

Several terms changed during LuckyMate’s first year, and much of what ranks for the brand hasn’t caught up. The table puts review-site claims beside what the operator publishes.

Games: 2,020 titles, built around slots

The lobby held 2,020 games on 2 October 2026: 1,667 slots, 46 live game shows, 46 table games, 43 Slingo titles, 28 crash and arcade games and 8 jackpot games. Most of the front-page favourites are Pragmatic Play’s, from the Big Bass series to Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter, with Games Global, Play’n GO, Playtech, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Hacksaw and Big Time Gaming filling out the rest. There’s no bingo or poker room.

The jackpot list includes Mega Moolah and Hall of Gods. Live tables come from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech Live, Ezugi, CreedRoomz, StakeLogic Live and Inspired. The operator doesn’t publish a table count, though at least three review sites put it above 200 live games. Crazy Time, Ice Fishing and Monopoly Roll ’em are among the game shows.

Every slot runs under British rules: a £5 maximum stake per spin (£2 if you’re 18 to 24), no autoplay, no turbo mode and no spin quicker than 2.5 seconds. More than 100 games are excluded from bonus wagering, Mega Moolah and Bonanza Megaways among them. Check the restricted list before using spin winnings.

Playing on mobile: a browser site, no app

There is no native app. Search the UK App Store and Google Play and nothing from Anakatech comes up; the operator’s line is that you don’t need one. Racing Post’s review says otherwise. Both stores hold unrelated apps with similar names; leave them alone. The mobile site carries everything instead: the casino, live tables, the sportsbook, the cashier with Apple Pay and Google Pay, your limits and live chat. For one-tap access, use “Add to Home Screen” in Safari or “Add to Home screen” in Chrome on Android.

Sports betting on the same account

The LuckyMate sportsbook runs on Altenar and covers football, horse racing, tennis, cricket, darts, snooker, golf, rugby, boxing and more, in-play included. Football gets most of the extras: Bet Builder, partial Cash Out, ACCA Boost of up to 75% on three or more selections, Early Payout at two goals up, 1UP on marked matches and Bore Draw refunds on 0-0 in selected markets. Racing fans get each-way, forecast, tricast and ante-post. No Best Odds Guaranteed, though, which is a real gap for a UK bookmaker.

Sports welcome offer, code LM10: bet £10, get a £10 free bet. Make a first deposit of £10 by Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay, then within 7 days place at least £10 on an accumulator or Bet Builder (2 or more selections) at odds of 6/4 (2.5) or bigger, with “Qualify for bonus” switched on in the bet slip. Horse racing, greyhounds and virtuals don’t count. The free bet can return up to £100 in cash.

18+. New customers only. First deposit only. The casino terms rule out combining first-deposit offers, so choose MATE50 or LM10. T&Cs apply. GambleAware.org

Payments and withdrawals

Five methods are confirmed both by LuckyMate and by independent reviews. Deposits and withdrawals start at £10, LuckyMate itself charges no fees, and deposits appear on your statement as “Anakatech Interactive”. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since April 2020.

Skrill, Neteller, PayPal and Paysafecard are uncertain: some review sites list them, LuckyMate’s pages don’t, so the cashier has the final word.

Once your account is verified, the Cash-out Policy says withdrawals are usually processed the same business day, in some cases up to 3 business days. The FAQ aims for 2 business days. Betting Lounge reported its first withdrawal landing in 26 hours and the second in 59 minutes. Approved withdrawals can’t be reversed, and totals above £1,000 can trigger extra checks. Our guide to how long LuckyMate withdrawals take breaks the wait down stage by stage.

Verification is the usual hold-up. Expect photo ID, a photo of your debit card with the middle eight digits and CVV covered, and a bill or bank statement from the last 3 months; source of funds questions sometimes follow. gambling.com reported its check clearing in 24 hours, while Betiton quotes up to 48 hours.

Licence, ownership and player protection

The operator behind LuckyMate is Anakatech Interactive Limited, licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 48789. The register lists remote casino since 23 November 2017, general betting on real events since 20 February 2024 and virtual events since 20 November 2024, and records no regulatory actions. The entry is there to read on the Gambling Commission public register. The company is registered in Malta (no. C 61918, Gżira), while the register gives its head office as Alabin 1, Telus Tower, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Customer funds are rated “not protected” by LuckyMate itself: they sit in a separate account but would not be shielded if the company became insolvent. The safer gambling tools are the standard UK set: a deposit limit chosen at sign-up (raising it takes 24 hours, lowering it is immediate), loss limits, reality checks, time-outs of up to 6 weeks and self-exclusion from 6 months to 5 years, for LuckyMate alone or every Anakatech Interactive brand. The site is part of GAMSTOP, disputes go to ADR Group, and the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133, 24 hours a day.

If you are still asking is LuckyMate legit, our longer check traces the company chain and the lookalike domains to avoid.

Customer support and complaints

Live chat, email ([email protected]) and a contact form are the options. There is no phone line. The Contacts page puts live chat at 8am to 11pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday. The account FAQ gives different hours, so outside those times use email. gambling.com and Betting.co.uk both measured chat replies at about two minutes. Complaints get a response within 4 weeks and a final decision within 8 weeks; after that, ADR Group can take the case.

What players say: the Trustpilot record

LuckyMate’s UK Trustpilot profile stood at 1.9 out of 5 from 153 reviews on 2 October 2026, 76% of them one-star, and the company does reply to negative reviews. Complaints follow a pattern: bonus spins or free bets not credited, slots that “don’t pay”, heavy document requests, accounts closed after a bonus bet and a few slow withdrawals. The five-star reviews mostly praise payouts that arrived within hours.

Review sites are kinder: Betting.co.uk 4.6/5, OLBG 4.4/5, Bojoko 4/5, gambling.com 7.5/10 (6.2/10 from its users), Betting Lounge 3.3/5 and a Casino Guru Safety Index of 8.7. The ID complaints turn up often enough to plan around. Have your documents ready before the first withdrawal. Ignore the second Trustpilot profile, for luckymate.casino (1.8/5); it belongs to an unrelated offshore site.

Who LuckyMate suits, and who should skip it

It suits you if

  • you mainly play slots and want a welcome deal with x1 wagering;
  • you’ll verify your ID up front, so payouts can go through the same business day;
  • you bet on football accas or Bet Builders and use partial Cash Out;
  • you want casino and betting on one UK-licensed account.

Skip it if

  • you want a downloadable app or a phone number to call;
  • you expect a VIP or loyalty scheme;
  • you mostly bet on horse racing and rely on Best Odds Guaranteed;
  • you’d rather not send ID, card and address documents;
  • you need live chat after 11pm.

For the slots side, the casino offer runs on code MATE50 with your first deposit.

LuckyMate FAQ

Is Lucky Mate casino good?

For slots players, yes. A Gambling Commission licence, 2,020 games and a welcome offer with x1 wagering earn it our editorial 4.5/5. Points go for the missing app, VIP scheme and phone support, and for a weak Trustpilot score that comes down to ID checks and bonus disputes.

Does LuckyMate have a VIP programme?

No. There is no VIP or loyalty scheme, and the /vip pages return an error. Existing players get rolling promotions instead: Big Bass Boost (code BIGBASS), Game of the Week (code HOTPICK), Drops & Wins and the Path of the Ancients tournaments in October 2026.

Can I use LuckyMate for sports betting as well as casino?

Yes. The same account covers the casino and the sportsbook, which runs on Altenar and carries football, horse racing, tennis, cricket, darts and more. Sports has its own welcome offer (code LM10, bet £10 and get a £10 free bet), separate from the casino spins.

Is LuckyMate a new casino?

Yes, as a brand: LuckyMate opened in late July 2025. Anakatech Interactive Limited, the company running it, has held a Gambling Commission casino licence since 23 November 2017. Several LuckyMate terms changed during its first year, so check the date on any review you read.

How many games does LuckyMate have?

2,020 in the lobby on 2 October 2026: 1,667 slots, 46 live game shows, 46 table games, 43 Slingo titles, 28 crash and arcade games and 8 jackpot games, Mega Moolah among them. There is no bingo or poker room.

Is LuckyMate on GamStop?

Yes. LuckyMate belongs to GAMSTOP, so registering with the scheme stops you opening or using an account there. Separately, it runs a self-exclusion of 6 months to 5 years, covering LuckyMate only or all Anakatech Interactive brands.
