On 2 October 2026 LuckyMate’s UK Trustpilot profile showed 1.9 out of 5 across 153 reviews, and 76% of them gave a single star. Most complaints concern slots that players feel never pay, welcome spins that did not arrive and repeated document requests. A smaller five-star group mostly praises withdrawals that landed within hours. Review portals are far kinder, from 3.3/5 at Betting Lounge to 5/5 at Racing Post. Our own 4.5/5 is an editorial score and does not average player reviews.
LuckyMate on Trustpilot: the figures on 2 October 2026
The British site’s reviews sit on LuckyMate’s UK Trustpilot page, listed under luckymate.co.uk. LuckyMate claimed the profile in August 2025, weeks after the casino opened, and its team answers posts there, one-star ones included. Here is the star split of the 153 reviews on 2 October 2026.
Trustpilot stars, 2 October 2026
Trustpilot figures as displayed on the luckymate.co.uk profile on 2 October 2026.
How the score has moved
We found no snapshot with LuckyMate above 2.0. Search results kept showing 2.0 as the review count climbed from 44 to 141, and MrMega logged the same 2.0 from 129 reviews on 7 August 2026. Another 24 reviews came in before 2 October, and by then the score had slipped to 1.9.
What the one-star reviews complain about
We read the 22 reviews shown by the profile’s one-star filter on 2 October 2026 and filed each under its main complaint. The table puts every theme next to what LuckyMate’s terms say about it.
| Main complaint | Reviews | Share of 22 | What LuckyMate’s rules say |
|---|---|---|---|
| Games felt unfair or “never pay” | 9 | 41% | Slots are made by outside studios; each game’s info screen shows its return to player (RTP) |
| Bonus spins or free bet not credited | 4 | 18% | Spins require MATE50 entered with the first deposit, a qualifying payment method and £10 wagered on slots within 7 days |
| Withdrawal delays | 2 | 9% | Normally the same business day, sometimes up to 3 business days, timed from verification |
| ID and document requests | 2 | 9% | ID, a card photo and proof of address; source of funds questions and extra checks above £1,000 withdrawn |
| Customer support | 2 | 9% | Live chat 8am–11pm Monday to Friday, 10am–10pm at weekends; email outside those hours |
| Other or mixed complaints | 3 | 14% | No single rule applies |
Checked against LuckyMate’s published terms and the Gambling Commission register on 2 October 2026.
A sample of 22 is small, so we checked it against MrMega’s August 2026 breakdown, made when the profile held 129 reviews: 21 of them were about withdrawals (16%) and 4 about a closed account. By either count, payout trouble is a minority theme.
“The slots don’t pay”
In nine of the 22 reviews the charge, in one form or another, is that the games are rigged. “Absolutely not a fair site. You will not win,” one reviewer wrote on 12 September 2026. Nothing on the public record supports this. The Gambling Commission register lists no regulatory action against the operator, Anakatech Interactive Limited; the slots come from studios such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO and NetEnt; and the footer shows the logos of two testing labs, Quinel and Trisigma. Casino Guru had logged one player complaint against LuckyMate, since resolved.
The return-to-player rate, at least, can be measured. Big Bass Splash, the welcome-spins slot, runs at 96.71% by default, though Pragmatic Play also makes 95.67% and 94.6% versions, and the game’s info screen shows which one is live. At 96.71%, 50 spins at £0.10 give back about £4.84 of the £5 staked, on average. That average only holds over a very large number of spins, so a short session can end far above or below it.
Welcome spins and free bets that did not arrive
“I didn’t then receive the free spins as per the offer,” says a one-star review dated 18 September 2026, and three more in the sample tell a similar story. The terms leave several ways to miss out: MATE50 entered in the Cashier after the first deposit rather than with it, paying by anything except Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or not finishing £10 of slot bets inside 7 days. For sports, the LM10 free bet only counts with “Qualify for bonus” turned on in the bet slip. Our guide to bonus spins not credited lists each cause with its fix.
Documents and closed accounts
Verification is the main subject of only two reviews in the sample, yet document requests turn up in many of the others. “They want more id than a mortgage company,” one reviewer wrote on 23 September 2026, and even a four-star review from 21 September noted “They periodically request bank details and ID after withdrawing.” LuckyMate can ask for photo ID, a picture of your debit card and proof of address issued in the past 3 months, then source of funds evidence such as payslips if its checks are triggered. We explain each request in why LuckyMate asks for documents.
A smaller group of reviewers say their accounts were closed after a losing bonus bet. Casino Guru calls LuckyMate’s terms “somewhat unfair”, citing game restrictions and the bonus-hunting clauses, so read the bonus terms before claiming offers back to back.
Withdrawals and support
Payouts were the main grievance in two one-star reviews, fewer than the five-star reviews praising quick ones. Our page on how long LuckyMate takes to withdraw compares the stated policy with tests by other sites. The two support complaints were about slow or unhelpful replies.
What the five-star reviews praise
On the same date the five-star filter showed 19 reviews, most of them about how fast the money arrived.
| Theme | Mentions | Share of 19 reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawals paid within hours, up to a day | 14 | 74% |
| Choice of games | 4 | 21% |
| Customer service | 2 | 11% |
Some reviews mention several themes, so the shares add up to more than 100%. Typical lines: “Winnings came in about an hour or so” (14 July 2026), “received the money into my account after a couple of hours” (26 August 2026) and “customer service is excellent” (1 January 2026).
So withdrawals turn up at both ends of the profile. One explanation fits the rules: payout times count only from verification, so players whose documents are approved talk of hours, and those still in checks report delays.
How to read a polarised rating
At the 2 October 2026 count, 88% of reviews sat at one extreme or the other, leaving 12% for the three middle grades. Few individual experiences look anything like a 1.9. Before treating a review as a guide to your own account, check:
- The date. Reviews from before 11 March 2026 describe the launch offer, which had no wagering and no cap; the current offer has x1 wagering and caps cashouts at £100.
- The product. Casino and sportsbook share one account and one profile, so a free bet dispute says little about the slots.
- The address. Reviews of luckymate.casino sit on a separate profile for a different brand.
- Verification. A stalled-payout complaint often mentions documents a line later.
- The reply. LuckyMate responds publicly, and its reply gives the company’s side.

Review sites against players: LuckyMate scores side by side
Review portals judge the licence, games, payments and terms; Trustpilot collects whatever customers choose to post. For LuckyMate the two sets of scores are a long way apart.
| Source | Score | Page date | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Racing Post | 5/5 | Updated 1 October 2026 | Describes an iOS and Android app; LuckyMate has none |
| Betting.co.uk | 4.6/5 | Edited 21 September 2026 | Sub-scores of 4.8 for support and for licensing |
| BestBettingSites | 4.6/5 | Not shown | Detailed on the sportsbook |
| OLBG (casino) | 4.4/5 | Not shown | From 10 ratings; lists 24/7 support, which LuckyMate does not offer |
| OLBG (sportsbook) | 4.3/5 | Not shown | From 25 ratings |
| Bojoko | 4/5 | Not shown | Describes the launch offer without wagering |
| WhichBingo | 4/5 | Published 15 September 2025 | Written in the brand’s first months |
| Sports Mole | 8/10 | October 2026 | Names the wrong Anakatech company as operator |

| Betting Lounge | 3.3/5 | Updated 17 September 2026 | Timed two withdrawals: 26 hours and 59 minutes |
| Casino Guru | Safety Index 8.7 (High) | August 2026 | Rates safety alone, not overall quality; 1 complaint, resolved |
| Trustpilot (players) | 1.9/5 | 2 October 2026 | 153 reviews, 76% one-star |
Scores as published on each site and read on 2 October 2026; page dates as the sites show them.
On gambling.com the split sits on one page: 7.5/10 from its reviewers, 6.2/10 from its users. Betting Lounge, which timed two withdrawals itself, gives the lowest portal score. Several higher scores rest on details that are outdated or wrong, Racing Post’s app and Bojoko’s no-wagering offer among them, so treat portal ratings as impressions and check facts against LuckyMate’s terms. Sister brands fare little better on Trustpilot: Betting Lounge’s 2025 review listed 2.6 for Winomania, 2.2 for 7Bet and 2.5 for BetNero.
Our 4.5/5 weighs licence and safety, games, payments, the sportsbook, support and bonus value, and our rating method explains how. Player reviews tell us what to check but stay out of the number. The full scorecard is in our verdict on LuckyMate casino.
Two Trustpilot profiles and two Casino Guru pages
Search “LuckyMate Trustpilot” and two profiles come up with almost the same score; Casino Guru also has two similarly named pages. Only one of each is about the UK casino.
| LuckyMate (luckymate.co.uk) | Lucky Mate Casino (luckymate.casino) | |
|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot score | 1.9/5 from 153 reviews | 1.8/5 from 32 reviews |
| Trustpilot profile | Claimed in August 2025; the company replies | Unclaimed |
| Operator | Anakatech Interactive Limited, Gambling Commission account 48789 | Not on the UK register; one reviewer names Coopers Creek Game Limited, which we could not verify |
| Market | Great Britain only, pounds | Offshore site with no Gambling Commission licence |
| Casino Guru | “LuckyMate Casino”: Safety Index 8.7 (High), August 2026 | “Lucky Mate Casino”: 3.5 (Low), May 2026, flagged for no licence and an undisclosed owner |
We have not confirmed which domain Casino Guru’s 3.5 page covers, so linking it to the offshore brand rests on the name alone. Reviews mentioning Australian dollars, a Curaçao licence or a no-deposit code are about namesakes: LuckyMate has no no-deposit offer. Our LuckyMate legitimacy check shows how to tell the real operator from lookalikes.
Lucky Mate casino reviews on Reddit
Google suggests four Reddit variations for the brand, including “luckymate casino reddit” and “lucky mate casino reviews reddit”. They lead nowhere: our October 2026 search found no Reddit thread about the UK casino. Other player pools are thin too, with 18 user ratings on gambling.com and 10 and 25 on OLBG’s casino and sportsbook pages. At 153 reviews, Trustpilot is by far the biggest pool.
How to complain about LuckyMate
Posting on Trustpilot is not a formal complaint. If something has gone wrong with your account, follow the order in the terms:
- Contact support by live chat or at [email protected] with your username, the date, the amount and the game or bet, plus screenshots, and ask for it to be logged as a complaint.
- LuckyMate should reply within 4 weeks and reach its final decision within 8 weeks.
- If the final answer leaves you unhappy, or none has come after 8 weeks, refer the case to ADR Group, the dispute service LuckyMate names.
- Report suspected breaches of licence conditions to the Gambling Commission, which does not rule on individual disputes.
- Post a review afterwards if you wish, leaving out account numbers and document details.
Our page on complaining to LuckyMate lists the channels, the hours and a short template.
What the reviews mean for a new account
Judging by the reviews, trouble gathers at two points, the first bonus and the first withdrawal, and you can prepare for both. Enter MATE50 before you pay, deposit by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, then wait for the Bet Tracker to reach 100%. Upload ID, a photo of your card and a recent statement or bill before the first cashout. Set a deposit limit at registration too: a lower limit applies at once, a higher one after 24 hours.
