Is LuckyMate Legit? Licence, Owner and Safety Checked

Yes, LuckyMate is legit. It is a casino and sportsbook licensed in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission and run by Anakatech Interactive Limited, a company registered in Malta. We went through the public register and LuckyMate’s terms on 2 October 2026, and three findings answer the question.

  • The licence is active. Anakatech Interactive Limited holds Gambling Commission account 48789, with remote casino, real-event betting and virtual betting all marked Active.
  • luckymate.co.uk is covered. The address appears on the register’s domain list for that account, so the licence applies to the site where you deposit and play.
  • No regulatory actions. The register records none against the company. LuckyMate also belongs to GAMSTOP and refers unresolved disputes to ADR Group, an alternative dispute resolution service.

Two caveats come with that answer. LuckyMate’s terms rate player balances as “not protected” if the company becomes insolvent, and its Trustpilot score stood at 1.9 out of 5 on the same date. We explain both below, together with the lookalike sites that borrow the name.

What the Gambling Commission register shows for LuckyMate

The register entry for account 48789 is the record that decides whether LuckyMate may take bets from people in Great Britain. It belongs to Anakatech Interactive Limited and lists three activities under one remote licence:

Activity on the registerStatusActive sinceWhat it covers at LuckyMate
Remote casinoActive23 November 2017Slots, table games, live casino, Slingo
General betting: real eventsActive20 February 2024The sportsbook: football, horse racing, tennis and more
General betting: virtual eventsActive20 November 2024Virtual racing and other virtual sports

On the regulatory actions tab of the same entry, the wording is “No regulatory actions have been recorded for this business”. The head office is listed as Alabin 1, Telus Tower, Sofia, Bulgaria (more on that address further down). You can open the record yourself on the Gambling Commission public register; our page of LuckyMate licence details goes through it field by field.

Checked against LuckyMate’s published terms and the Gambling Commission register on 2 October 2026.

Why the licence is older than the brand

The casino permission dates from 23 November 2017, yet LuckyMate opened only in late July 2025. That date refers to the company. Anakatech Interactive held its casino licence for years before launching LuckyMate, and the same licence also covers Winomania, its other own brand, plus seven white-label sites. The two betting permissions arrived in 2024, ahead of a sportsbook that shares one account with the casino.

Who owns LuckyMate? The company chain

Three businesses sit behind the site. Only one of them is responsible for your account.

Whichever supplier powers a game or a bet, complaints, withdrawals and self-exclusion requests all go to Anakatech Interactive, and that is the company the Gambling Commission holds responsible.

Why LuckyMate lists two addresses, Malta and Sofia

LuckyMate’s user agreement and footer give a Maltese address: Soho Office Space, The Strand Fawwara Building, Gżira GZR1401. The register gives a head office in Sofia. One company can have both. The registered office is where it is legally incorporated and receives formal notices; the head office is where the business is run day to day, and that is the address a licensee declares to the Commission.

Neither address should worry you by itself. The useful check is whether the names match: the company named in LuckyMate’s terms, Maltese number C 61918, is the one holding account 48789. If a “LuckyMate” site names a different company, cites a licence from another country or gives no account number, it is not LuckyMate.

48788 is a software licence, not the casino’s

Some review sites quote 48788 as LuckyMate’s licence number. That account belongs to Anakatech Limited, the software company in the British Virgin Islands. Its licence is for supplying gambling software and does not let the holder take bets from you. The number to check is 48789, and a page that mixes the two up may have other facts wrong too.

LuckyMate’s real domains and sister sites

The register lists ten domains under account 48789 and no trading names. Three are the licensee’s own sites, and the other seven carry the status “White Label”.

7bet.co.uk, betcrown.co.uk, betlegend.co.uk, betnero.co.ukWhite LabelSister brands on the same licence
betfusion.com, neptuneplay.com, playwins.comWhite LabelSister brands on the same licence

A white label is a brand that a partner runs on the licence holder’s platform and licence, with the licence holder answering to the Commission for it. LuckyMate’s self-exclusion can be set for LuckyMate alone or for every brand under Anakatech Interactive. GAMSTOP blocks all of them, together with every other online operator licensed in Great Britain.

This guide, lucky-mate-casino.uk.com, is missing from that list because it is not LuckyMate. We review the brand independently. You cannot open an account, log in or deposit here, and nobody from this site will ask for your password or card details.

How to check LuckyMate’s licence yourself

  1. Open the register. Search the Gambling Commission public register for “Anakatech Interactive” or account 48789. LuckyMate is not listed as a trading name, so search by company.
  2. Check the status. Remote casino should read Active, and so should general betting if you plan to use the sportsbook.
  3. Match the domain. In the domain names tab, look for the exact address shown in your browser bar. luckymate.co.uk is listed. An address with extra words, hyphens or a different ending is not, whatever logo it carries.
  4. Read the regulatory actions tab. It was empty on 2 October 2026. Any future fine or added licence condition would be published here.
  5. Compare the footer. A genuine LuckyMate page names Anakatech Interactive Limited and account 48789, with a link to the register.
  6. Look at the cashier. LuckyMate works only in pounds and takes Visa and Mastercard debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Trustly. If you see crypto, Australian dollars or “pokies”, you are on a different site.

Lookalike pages sometimes copy the logo and put up a login form. Before you type a password on any page calling itself LuckyMate, learn how to spot a fake login page.

Lookalikes: luckymate.casino, Lucky Mate Australia and others

Most doubts about LuckyMate begin on another site with a similar name. None of the following is LuckyMate:

Name you may seeWhat it isHow to tell
luckymate.casinoAn offshore “Lucky Mate Casino”, a separate brandNot on the UK register; its own Trustpilot profile scores 1.8/5
“Lucky Mate” sites for Australia and New ZealandCasino pages aimed at Australian and New Zealand playersPrices in AUD, talk of “pokies”, a claimed Curaçao licence
lucky-mate.comRedirects to lucky-mate1.com, a review siteTakes no deposits; not on the UK register
Apps called “LuckyMate” or “Lucky Mate”Apps from unrelated developersLuckyMate has no native app at all

Bonus codes and complaints from the offshore and Australian sites leak into searches for the UK brand. A no-deposit code you have read about belongs to a lookalike, because LuckyMate has none. Our page on Lucky Mate sites outside the UK sorts the namesakes by country. If you find a site offering gambling in Great Britain without a licence, you can report it to the Gambling Commission through its “Tell us something in confidence” page.

How safe is your money at LuckyMate?

The licence decides whether the operator may trade at all. Whether your balance is safe is a narrower question, and here LuckyMate has one clear weak spot.

Customer funds: rated “not protected”

Licensed operators have to tell customers how their balances are protected if the business becomes insolvent. LuckyMate’s user agreement and account FAQ give the lowest rating: player money is kept in a separate account, but “these funds are not protected in the event of insolvency”. One review site describes the protection as medium; go by the operator’s wording instead.

None of this affects everyday deposits and withdrawals. The rating comes into play only if Anakatech Interactive went under, in which case players would have no ring-fenced claim on their balances. The practical step is to withdraw winnings you do not plan to play, rather than leave a large balance sitting on the account between sessions.

Payouts, documents and complaints

Both test withdrawals reported by another review site arrived within the limit set by LuckyMate’s cash-out policy, and the timings and payout complaints are collected in our LuckyMate payout record.

Most of the friction comes from document requests, which stem from UK anti-money laundering and safer gambling duties, so a licensed site that asks for them is doing what the rules expect. How your login and data are protected is covered under LuckyMate security.

If something goes wrong, complain to LuckyMate first, through live chat or [email protected]. The terms promise a response within 4 weeks and a final decision within 8 weeks, after which the case can go to ADR Group. The Gambling Commission itself does not adjudicate individual disputes over a bet or a payout.

Testing labs, privacy and safer gambling

LuckyMate’s footer carries the logos of two testing laboratories, Quinel and Trisigma, the latter a test house approved by the Gambling Commission. The privacy notice names a data protection officer and a UK representative, and the Information Commissioner’s Office acts as supervisor. A deposit limit is set at registration, and time-outs of up to 6 weeks and self-exclusion from 6 months to 5 years are available too. Our safer gambling page explains how GamStop and self-exclusion work together.

What the licence does not tell you

A licence sets minimum standards. Whether LuckyMate suits you is a separate matter. It has no native app, VIP programme or phone line, live chat is not open around the clock, and winnings from the 50 welcome bonus spins are capped at £100. On the other side are 2,020 games and a sportsbook on the same account. Our editorial score is 4.5 out of 5, and games, bonus maths and payments are weighed up in our LuckyMate review for British players.

What players and review sites say

On Trustpilot the recurring complaints are bonus spins or free bets not credited, slots that “don’t pay”, long document requests and accounts closed after a bonus bet, while withdrawal delays come up in only a handful of reviews and the company replies to the negative ones. Review portals rate LuckyMate well above its Trustpilot score, and their ratings, player quotes and complaint themes are broken down in what players say about LuckyMate.

LuckyMate legitimacy FAQ

Is luckymate.co.uk legit?

Yes. The register lists luckymate.co.uk as an active domain under Gambling Commission account 48789, which is held by Anakatech Interactive Limited, and records no regulatory actions against the company.

Is Lucky Mate casino safe?

It applies the UK licence rules, among them ID checks, GAMSTOP, deposit limits and the £5 slot stake limit. The risk lies in money left on the account: LuckyMate rates it as not protected if the company becomes insolvent, so withdraw what you do not plan to play.

Who owns LuckyMate Casino?

Anakatech Interactive Limited, registered in Malta under company number C 61918; the Gambling Commission register gives its head office as Sofia. The software is supplied by Anakatech Limited, which holds a separate software licence under account 48788.

Is LuckyMate a scam if its Trustpilot score is 1.9?

Nothing on the record points to a scam: the licence is active and the register shows no regulatory actions. The score, based on 153 reviews, is driven mostly by complaints about document requests, bonus spins that were not credited and slots that players feel do not pay.

Is LuckyMate the same as Lucky Mate Australia?

No. LuckyMate is a UK-only brand that works in pounds. The Lucky Mate sites for Australia and New Zealand (AUD, a claimed Curaçao licence) and the offshore luckymate.casino are separate brands, and none of them is on the UK register.

What are LuckyMate’s sister sites?

Winomania is the licensee’s other own brand. The same licence also lists seven white-label domains: 7Bet, BetCrown, BetFusion, BetLegend, BetNero, NeptunePlay and PlayWins.
