LuckyMate’s sportsbook runs on Altenar’s betting platform and shares one account with the casino. Anakatech Interactive Limited, the operator, has held Gambling Commission permission for betting on real events since 20 February 2024, and on virtual events since 20 November 2024. With code LM10, new customers get a £10 free bet for staking £10 on an acca or Bet Builder priced at 6/4 or bigger. Football is where the features cluster: Bet Builder, partial Cash Out, ACCA Boost of up to 75% and two kinds of early payout. Racing bettors get no Best Odds Guaranteed. The terms quoted here are those LuckyMate published on 2 October 2026.
LuckyMate sports welcome offer: how the LM10 free bet works
The betting sign-up offer is simple: one qualifying £10 bet earns a £10 free bet, win or lose. It runs apart from the casino welcome offer, which pays slot spins under MATE50. Each needs the first deposit, and the casino terms don’t allow a second first-deposit offer, so choose between sport and slots before your first payment goes through.
- Make your first deposit of £10 or more by Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay. The offer doesn’t list Google Pay or Trustly.
- Type LM10 into the promo code field in the Cashier. It goes in by hand, during that same deposit.
- Check the Gift icon, under New Offers. For now the sportsbook lists the offer as Sleeping.
- Build an acca or Bet Builder with 2+ selections at combined odds of 6/4 (2.5) or bigger and stake at least £10. Horse racing, greyhounds and virtuals don’t count.
- Switch on Qualify for bonus in the bet slip before you confirm. Without it, the bet does nothing for the offer.
- Look for the £10 free bet marked Active in your bet slip. If it hasn’t appeared after the qualifying bet settles, talk to support before placing anything else.
LM10 terms in full
| Term | What the T&Cs say | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Who can claim | New customers, once per player, IP address, device and household | Other accounts at the same address don’t qualify |
| Deposit | £10 minimum, first deposit, Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay | Google Pay or Trustly won’t trigger it |
| Qualifying bet | £10+ on an acca or Bet Builder, 2+ selections, 6/4 (2.5) or bigger | A single doesn’t qualify, whatever the price |
| Using the free bet | Same rules, placed in one go | You can’t split it into two £5 bets |
| Excluded | Horse racing, greyhounds, virtuals, system bets, price boosts | Football, tennis and darts are fine |
| Deadline | 7 days from the first deposit with the code | Both bets must fall inside that window |
| Stake | Not returned; only winnings are paid | £10 at 3.00 pays £20, not £30 |
| Void selection | Free bet forfeited | A postponed match can cost you the free bet |
| Max cashout | £100 from free bet winnings | Only matters above combined odds of 11.0 (10/1) |
| Withdrawal | Withdrawing removes all active bonuses | Let the free bet settle first |
Checked against LuckyMate’s published terms and the Gambling Commission register on 2 October 2026.
LuckyMate’s terms mix fractional and decimal odds. For 6/4, divide 6 by 4 and add 1: that gives 2.5, the total return per £1 staked. At that minimum price a winning £10 cash bet returns £25, while the free bet pays £15, because the stake is removed. Some partner sites push sports codes of their own with different amounts, and the terms on the page where you sign up are the binding ones. Every code we have found, with its conditions, is listed under LuckyMate bonus codes.

Football betting at LuckyMate: markets and features
Alongside the Premier League, Championship and Champions League, the operator lists leagues worldwide. Before kick-off there is first goalscorer, both teams to score, correct score, over/under goals and half-time/full-time; in-play adds next goal, corners and cards.
| Feature | How it works | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Bet Builder | 2+ outcomes from one match (goals, corners, scorers) at one price; also basketball and ice hockey | Every leg must win |
| ACCA Boost | Up to 75% added to winnings on accas with 3+ selections, automatically | Only if all legs win; the percentage grows with the number of legs |
| Early Payout | Bet settled as a winner when your team goes two goals up | Check the market is eligible before you bet |
| 1UP | Pre-match 1X2 bet settled as a winner when the team with the 1UP icon leads by one goal | Selected matches, marked team only |
| Bore Draw | Stake returned if the match ends 0-0, on eligible pre-match markets such as correct score, first goalscorer and HT/FT | Only the stake comes back |
| Cash Out | Full or partial, from My Bets | Cancels boosts; cashed-out bets don’t count for Reload or the Weekly Boost |
The two early-payout features differ in the lead they need. Early Payout settles your bet at two goals up; 1UP does it at one, but only on matches carrying its icon and only on the match result. A settled bet stays settled: a 1UP bet paid at 1-0 remains a winner even if the match ends 1-2. If the team wins anyway, you are paid the normal winnings and no more.
LuckyMate horse racing: each-way, forecasts and no BOG
UK and Irish meetings come with win, place and each-way bets, forecasts (first two in exact order), tricasts (first three in exact order), ante-post prices on the big races and in-play betting on some. LuckyMate’s racing page says a horse must finish in the top 2, 3 or 4 to be placed, depending on field size, so check the each-way terms race by race.
Where racing falls short is Best Odds Guaranteed. With BOG, a bookmaker pays at the starting price when it beats the price you took. LuckyMate doesn’t: take 5/1 in the morning on a horse that goes off at 8/1 and you are paid at 5/1. If you bet close to the off, it matters less. Racing and greyhounds are also excluded from LM10, for the qualifying bet and the free bet alike.
Tennis, cricket, darts, golf and rugby
Tennis covers the Grand Slams, ATP, WTA and Challenger events: match winner, set betting, total games, first set winner and handicaps, plus next game and next point in-play. Cricket runs from Tests to T20s with top batsman, total match runs, method of dismissal and team score over/under. Darts has match winner, most 180s, highest checkout and first to a set or leg. Golf offers outrights, round leader, top 5/10/20 and head-to-heads, rugby first try scorer, winning margin and points spread. For snooker, boxing and MMA, LuckyMate’s pages don’t describe the markets, so we can’t vouch for their depth.
In-play betting and Cash Out
In-play odds move without a page refresh, and a goal or red card briefly locks the market. Live betting covers football, tennis, rugby, basketball, cricket and some horse races. Many in-play markets carry Cash Out: open My Bets, check the button is active, then take the full amount or cash out part and let the rest run. You get whatever the market offers at that moment.
As for live video streaming, LuckyMate’s pages don’t mention it and review sites contradict each other, so we haven’t listed it.
Virtual sports
Virtual football, horse racing and greyhounds run around the clock; tennis, cycling and motorsport appear at times. Odds are fixed before the start, certified RNG software decides results, and a new event starts every couple of minutes. That pace is where the risk lies: you can end up betting far more often than on real sport. Virtuals don’t count for LM10 or carry its free bet, and the Weekly Boost excludes them.

Weekly Boost tokens land the Monday after the qualifying week, with no opt-in. Bet Back codes reach eligible players through My Bonuses or email; on 2 October the promotion page named the Future Champions Festival in racing (8–10 October) and Premier League round 9 (30 October to 1 November).
The Weekly Boost tiers reward volume, and the top one takes 40 settled bets. Set a budget for the week first and don’t place extra bets to reach a tier.

Deposits, withdrawals and betting on your phone
Deposits and withdrawals both start at £10, and LuckyMate charges no fee. After verification, withdrawals are usually processed the same business day and within 3 business days at most; the stages are set out in our guide to withdrawal speed. Money returns to the method you deposited with, and an approved withdrawal can’t be cancelled.
LuckyMate has no betting app. On a phone the sportsbook runs in the browser with the same markets, bet slip and Cash Out as on desktop, and a home-screen shortcut puts it one tap away. Our mobile betting page covers setup on iPhone and Android, and why store apps with similar names have nothing to do with LuckyMate.
Betting limits and safer gambling
A deposit limit is set at registration; cuts take effect at once, increases after 24 hours. Loss limits, reality checks and time-outs of 24 hours to 6 weeks are available, self-exclusion runs from 6 months to 5 years, and the site is connected to GAMSTOP. We explain how to set betting limits, and which need a request to support, in a separate guide.
In-play markets and virtuals settle fast. Decide your weekly stake in advance, and don’t try to win back a losing acca with a bigger one. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133 (England and Scotland, 24/7), 0808 2819 265 in Wales and 08000 886 725 in Northern Ireland.
On customer funds, LuckyMate’s own rating is “not protected”. Balances are kept in a separate account with no shield against insolvency. The football FAQ says “your funds are protected”, which doesn’t square with that rating. Rely on the formal disclosure and keep large sums out of the account.
Who the LuckyMate sportsbook suits
It works best for football bettors who build accas and Bet Builders, and the same login opens the casino, from slots to live dealer tables. Racing bettors who take early prices and count on BOG should look elsewhere, as should anyone who wants an app or confirmed live streaming. Payments, the casino and the Trustpilot record are covered in our LuckyMate casino and sportsbook review.

LuckyMate sportsbook FAQ
How does the LuckyMate sports welcome offer work?
Your first deposit needs to be £10 or more, by Visa, Mastercard or Apple Pay, with code LM10. Within 7 days, bet £10 or more on an acca or Bet Builder with 2+ selections at odds of 6/4 (2.5) or bigger, with Qualify for bonus switched on. The £10 free bet follows whether that bet wins or loses.
Does LuckyMate offer Best Odds Guaranteed on horse racing?
No. You are paid at the price you took, even when the horse starts at bigger odds. Win, each-way, forecast, tricast and ante-post bets are all on offer.
Does LuckyMate have Bet Builder, Cash Out and Early Payout?
Yes. Bet Builder combines outcomes from one match, Cash Out comes full or partial, Early Payout settles a bet once your team is two goals up, and 1UP does the same at one goal on marked matches.
Can I claim the casino and sports welcome offers together?
No. MATE50 and LM10 both attach to the first deposit, and the casino terms exclude any other first-deposit promotion, so make the choice before that deposit.
Can I bet in-play at LuckyMate?
Yes. Live betting covers football, tennis, rugby, basketball, cricket and some horse races, with odds that update without a page refresh and a brief lock after a goal or red card. Many in-play markets carry Cash Out, full or partial.
