The LuckyMate welcome offer gives new UK customers 50 bonus spins on Big Bass Splash, worth £0.10 each, once they deposit at least £10 with code MATE50 and bet £10 on slots within 7 days. Winnings from the spins carry x1 wagering and a £100 cashout cap, and the spins expire 24 hours after they land. Only Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay deposits qualify. The terms below are the version last updated on 11 March 2026.

How to claim the 50 bonus spins, step by step

Everything hangs on the first deposit. If you haven’t registered yet, start with our guide to opening a LuckyMate account: the form asks for a deposit limit, and it is easier to pick that figure before the offer is in front of you.

  1. Open the Cashier for your first deposit. Choose Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay and enter £10 or more.
  2. Type MATE50 into the promo code field. You enter it by hand as part of that first deposit; the terms don’t allow for adding it afterwards.
  3. Check the Gift icon. When the deposit clears, the Gift icon at the top of the screen lists your active bonuses, the welcome offer among them.
  4. Bet a total of £10 on slots within 7 days. It can be one bet or several. UK rules cap a slot spin at £5 (£2 if you are 18 to 24), so you need at least two spins, or five on the lower limit.
  5. Watch the Bet Tracker reach 100%. The 50 spins are then credited for Big Bass Splash.
  6. Play the spins within 24 hours. Whatever is left after that is voided.

What the 50 bonus spins are worth

At face value the spins are worth £5. What comes back on average depends on the game’s return to player (RTP). Big Bass Splash runs at 96.71% in its default version, though Pragmatic Play also supplies versions at 95.67% and 94.6%. The game’s information screen shows which figure applies at LuckyMate, so check it before you spin.

What the welcome offer involves

£10Slot bets needed£5Spin face value£4.84Avg return 96.71%£4.73Avg return 94.6%
Average return = 50 spins × £0.10 × RTP. A single batch of 50 spins can return nothing or far more than £5.

The real value is a little under £4.84, because your own £10 of qualifying bets is played at the normal house edge of whichever slot you choose. And one batch of 50 spins can return nothing at all.

How x1 wagering and the £1 contribution rule work

Spin winnings must be bet once on eligible games before they can be withdrawn. If the spins return £4.84, that means £4.84 of further bets on non-jackpot slots or scratch games outside the excluded list. No single bet counts for more than £1 towards the total, so staking bigger won’t clear it any faster.

The £100 cashout cap

The cap applies only to money the spins produce. Spin winnings above £100 can’t be withdrawn, while winnings from your own deposit aren’t limited by it.

Why some review sites still say “no wagering”

They are describing an older offer. From launch in late July 2025 until the terms were rewritten on 11 March 2026, the same 50 spins carried no wagering and no cap, and the promo page told players they could keep 100% of their winnings.

Excluded games listNone attached to the offerWell over 100 titles

Bojoko, PokerListings, Betiton and Sports Mole still describe the launch version in places, which is where the “no wagering” claims in search results come from. LuckyMate’s own promotions hub adds to the confusion: its marketing copy still mentions “no wagering requirements”, while the offer’s terms say x1. Where the two disagree, the terms win.

Excluded games: where bonus play doesn’t count

LuckyMate’s list of bonus-restricted games runs to well over 100 titles and works against you twice: bets on these games don’t move the Bet Tracker, and spin winnings can’t be wagered on them. Jackpot slots are out altogether, because spin winnings can only be played on non-jackpot slots and scratch games. Examples from the list:

  • Jackpots: Mega Moolah and its many spin-offs, Hall of Gods, Divine Fortune, Mega Fortune.
  • Popular slots: Bonanza Megaways, Dead or Alive, Immortal Romance, Blood Suckers, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Extra Chilli.
  • Crash and arcade: Aviator, Plinko, Mines.
  • Table games: European Roulette, Classic Blackjack, Casino Hold’em.
  • Slingo and scratch: Slingo Starburst, Book of Slingo, Mr & Mrs Scratch, SCRATCH! Gold.

Check the exact title: a variant can be restricted when the original isn’t. On 2 October 2026 Starburst and Wolf Gold were not on the list, but Starburst XXXtreme and Wolf Gold Ultimate were. Big Bass Splash itself is eligible. The terms say the list can change and that checking it is the player’s job. Our page on eligible LuckyMate slots covers the lobby and the game types outside bonus play.

Withdrawing while a bonus is active

LuckyMate’s general bonus terms are blunt: request a withdrawal while any bonus is still active and that bonus, along with its winnings, is forfeited automatically. The same terms protect your own money. You can always withdraw your deposit, what is left of it, or anything you won with it. So play the spins and clear the x1 wagering before you ask for a payout.

Cashier rules still apply: the minimum withdrawal is £10, the money goes back to the deposit method, and identity checks come first. Our guide to withdrawing bonus winnings covers timings and what slows them down.

Bonus spins not credited? Causes and fixes

Missing spins are one of the recurring complaints on LuckyMate’s Trustpilot page, which stood at 1.9/5 on 2 October 2026. Set those complaints beside the terms and most come down to one of the rules below.

The cashier shows more options than the offer accepts, so check the payment methods that qualify before depositing. If the tracker hit 100% and nothing arrived, the terms ask you to contact LuckyMate before you keep playing, through its live chat or at [email protected]. Keep the deposit time and a Bet Tracker screenshot to hand.

A different code on a partner page

Some partner landing pages carry MATE100 for 100 spins or RP250 for 250 spins, with the same wagering, cap and 7-day window. LuckyMate marks them “valid via landing page or affiliate link only”. Our LuckyMate promo code guide lists every code and where each one applies.

Promotions for existing LuckyMate customers

After the welcome offer come two deposit-based spin promotions and three opt-in ones. Codes go into the same Cashier field as MATE50.

Big Bass Boost spins work on Big Bass Splash, Big Bass Bonanza, Big Bass Day at the Races, Big Bass Secret of the Golden Lakes and Big Bass Floats My Boat. If a game qualifies for more than one promotion, bets count towards the one claimed first until it is complete. Tournament points come from cash bets only; spins, bonus funds and free bets don’t score.

Casino spins or sports free bet: you pick one

Sports customers have a separate offer under code LM10: a £10 acca or Bet Builder at 6/4 or bigger earns a £10 free bet, and the conditions are on our sports welcome free bet page. Both are first-deposit offers, and the casino terms rule out combining MATE50 with any other first-deposit promotion. Decide on the product before you deposit.

No deposit bonus and no VIP programme

There is no LuckyMate no deposit bonus for UK players: every casino promotion needs a deposit and qualifying bets first. Searches for one tend to turn up “Lucky Mate” sites aimed at Australia and New Zealand, or the offshore luckymate.casino. Both are separate from the operator licensed in Great Britain. There is no VIP or loyalty programme either (gambling.com and Bojoko report the same), so the promotions above are the casino’s only regular rewards.

How UK rules shape the offer

Since 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission has capped bonus wagering at 10x and banned promotions that mix products, such as a sports bet that earns casino spins. LuckyMate’s x1 is nowhere near that ceiling, and its casino and sports welcome offers run on separate codes.

Slot rules cover qualifying bets and wagering as well: a £5 maximum stake per spin since 9 April 2025, £2 for players aged 18 to 24 since 21 May 2025, no autoplay or turbo, and at least 2.5 seconds per spin. For the record, UK players pay no tax on winnings.

The offer needs only £10. To keep it that way, set deposit and loss limits before you claim: increases take 24 hours to apply, reductions are immediate. Time-outs, self-exclusion and GAMSTOP are there too.

How the offer fits the rest of the site, from the 2,020-game lobby to payouts and support, is covered in our full LuckyMate casino review.

LuckyMate welcome offer FAQ

What is the current LuckyMate welcome offer?

New UK customers get 50 bonus spins at £0.10 each on Big Bass Splash. To get them, make a first deposit of at least £10 with code MATE50, then bet £10 on slots within 7 days. Whatever the spins win carries x1 wagering and a £100 cashout cap.

Does the LuckyMate welcome offer have wagering requirements?

Yes, x1. Since 11 March 2026 spin winnings have to be wagered once, and no single bet counts for more than £1. Reviews claiming no wagering describe the launch version.

What is the most I can withdraw from the Lucky Mate free spins?

£100. Spin winnings beyond that can’t be withdrawn, though the cap doesn’t touch anything you win with your own deposit.

How long do I have to use the bonus spins?

There are two clocks. You have 7 days from claiming to bet £10 on slots, then 24 hours to play the spins once credited.

Is there a LuckyMate no deposit bonus?

No. Each LuckyMate casino promotion starts with a deposit and qualifying bets. Sites advertising a Lucky Mate no deposit bonus usually belong to unrelated Australian, New Zealand or offshore brands.

Why haven’t I received my LuckyMate free spins?

Usually one of these: no MATE50 code at the first deposit, a deposit under £10, a payment method other than Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, bets on excluded games, or the 7-day deadline running out. If the Bet Tracker shows 100% and still no spins appear, contact LuckyMate support before you keep playing.
